I've checked the status of the wireless adapter in the control panel and it seems to be ok. I have the same problem as described. I know where that button is and it is on and says 'wireless lan enabled'. The orange light is blinking. The computer also tells me that the internal wireless card is working since it says 'the device is working properly' in device manager. I cannot access or 'see' any wireless networks and I have already set up one that works with another computer. Do i need to update a driver? Any help is appreciated. If not, then it is your wireless laptop, If your laptop is able to detect your wireless card in the device manager, then you might have a driver promblem, There are FN keys that disable and enable your wireless card. But when you mentioned wirless is enable, that means your wireless card is enable and is working. These arn't really solution but just step by step to see what is wrong. Posted on Jan 13, 2011.
